This year we got to celebrate Christmas Eve twice! It was really fun because it made Christmas feel like it was several days long. We drove straight to my parents house on Saturday (which is why Macy the angel looks a little haggard) and enjoyed all the festivities there, including the infamous nativity. The kids all take it so seriously and even though Macy opted to be the angel so that she could wear shiny tinsel in her hair and wear wings, she has been draping blankets over her head ever since and requesting swaddling clothes for her "boy baby".
