Fun day!

The dolphins were so fun and interactive.
Macy and Kate with the baby.

In this picture there are 3 huge lions behind Jas and Macy.
This past Friday we all went down to the Mirage to Siegfreid and Roy's Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat. It was so much fun! The girls LOVED the dophins. They were so close you could almost touch them. Kate also liked the lions, she kept saying "kitty?" It was all so great but the best part was just being with my 3 favorite people!
After, we headed to Grandma B's house but made a stop at the Bass Pro Shop first.

Here are a few pictures from the Bass Pro Shop. We could have spent hours there. They have hundreds of animals everywhere, lions, a girraffe, and bears. The best part was the HUGE tropical fish aquarium. We got there just in time for the sting- ray feeding. After which we lucked out and got to see the mermaid that swims around in the tank. Macy was in heaven! In one of the pictures she is blowing a kiss to Kate. She was so cute with the girls. They loved it. It was great free entertainment. Jas even got a little play in too with the hunting simulator. (I took a picture but thought I had posted enough already)

tagged...

I have been tagged by my friend Melissa (http://jessopadventures.blogspot.com/) I have never been tagged before but I guess I am suppose to share 7 things about myself. I had to think about this one and I've decided I'm not a very exciting person! Here is what I have come up with.

1. I would rather do ANYTHING than give a talk! Bungee jumping, sky-diving, sleep with cocroaches, attempt geometry...you name it. I DO NOT like to give talks!

2. I get the willies when I touch cotton, or cardboard. I just about go nuts! I can not stand the feel! Just thinking of it makes me want to go put lotion on!

3. I LOVE being pregnant! I love everything about it (not the weight gain so much). I sometimes wish I could be pregnant, I'm just not ready for another baby yet!

4. I love peanut butter anything! I think everything is better with a little peanut butter! (maybe I'll have to try your pickle & p.b. sandwich Mel)

5. I will never drink the bottom of whatever it is I am drinking. I don't know what it is but I have some hang up with the very bottom of a drink. I don't know if it's all the little "ice floaties" or if the saying really is true that it's all back-wash at the bottom. Something in my head will not let me drink the very last of my drink.

6. I have had a "minor" surgery performed by a heart surgeon called a transtheurasic sympathectomy. Which was done by collapsing my lungs and going in to my spine and clipping some nerves all so that I wouldn't have clamy hands! I only spent one night in ICU, it was worth it though!

7. I make Jas turn out the light every night. If I ever have to do it I have to run and jump into bed because I am a big wuss!

Macy's bob

Macy has been wanting her hair cut for several weeks now. Of course I had wanted it cut until she started saying that she did too and then I wasn't too sure. On Monday we were bored and Macy was asking me to cut her hair and although I did it reluctantly...I love it! I am wondering why I didn't do it sooner.

guilty confession

So, I have had a craving for cupcakes for about a week now (no I am not pregnant). I have really been wanting a cupcake. I don't know if it's the whole feeling of Halloween in the air or all the fall festivites, I have just been craving cupcakes. So last night we went to a halloween carnival. Of course they had a cake-walk and if you win you get a whole box of cupcakes! I convince Macy to do the cakewalk with me with no luck, we were one number away from the lucky winner. I still really want a cupcake and so we try 2 more times...still no luck. Macy has had it with the cakewalk but I am feeling lucky so I drag Kate out of her stroller to go with me (I can't go by myself, how pathetic am I?) Finally after my fourth and final attempt to win myself an entire box of cupcakes...I decide maybe I should give up, besides I think that people around us may be catching on that I am the one that I am the one who is playing and not my kids! So today after church I make a chocolate fudge cake and I eat an ENTIRE row! I don't know which confession I am more embarresed about, the fact that I made my kids do the cake walk with me or the fact that I just ate an entire row (and it wasn't skinny) of chocolate cake!

Thanks aunt Trish!

I love my sparkly jellies!
She got quite the princess loot from aunt Trish
My big sister Trishelle is the best! She is constantly sending my girls new things. Macy is starting to think that getting packages in the mail is a weekly thing. The girls are always stocked up with the latest in princess fashion, shoes and gymboree shirts! Thanks Trish!

Kate vs. Mommy= 1/0

I sat and asked myself if this story was blog worthy and I decided that even if you don't find it entertaining, hopefully it will at least make you feel better about your own child today. I also tried to think of the perfect title for this entry: "Adventures in motherhood", "Girl gone wild", "one going on two", "what did Kate eat today?". Today my sweet little Kate took her rage out on me. It all started at Wallgreens where I went to buy some Halloween candy. Luckily they didn't have the selection I wanted but while looking for just the right thing, I had let Macy and Kate hold a doll from the store. When it was time to go Kate did not think I should take the doll away and so there in the middle of the candy aisle I haul Macy out of the kart while holding a screaming and very stiff Kate, stash my cart right there in the middle of the store giving
everyone standing in line some entertainment while they wait to buy their candy! As I was walking out I even passed one lady that whispered "Poor mom!" (Yea, it was that bad). So on the way home Kate is pretty quiet. I keep looking back at her asking "Are you o.k. now or are you still mad at mommy?" She doesn't look at me once. We get home and I realize she has a stinky diaper and so instead of staying outside to play for a minute I take her in to change her. This too did not go over well. As I was changing her I was thinking to myself that I could probably do pretty well in the rodeos when they rope and wrestle the little calfs. She was not going to make things easy for me. After what felt like one heck of a workout I finally got the diaper on and decided to just put her down for her nap which only made her more mad. Forty-five minutes later I am heading downstairs to get Macy a snack when I hear Kate on the monitor. I decide to go get her since it is now too late for her to take a nap. I open her door and am instantly greeted with the fresh aroma of poop. There is Kate standing in her bed with her hands covered in poo, not only her hands but her crib, her blanket, her bedding, her glow worm, and the outside of her crib covered in poop! I put the little "poop" in the bathtub and head back to the kitty litter box to clean up the mess and I find it under her bed! She was fully clothed...no diaper off, just decided to finger paint with her poop! I hate to admit it but I don't think it was a mere coincidence that all of this happened the same day mommy had to put her in time out! I am a little nervous of what's to come in the years ahead!

blogger rut

O.K., I just want to apologize to all you fellow bloggers out there that check our blog. I look at so many others and they have new and different things on them weekly. Well, the main reason we set this thing up was to keep our families up to date on what is going on with us...o.k. let's be honest, the girls, they could care less about us! Anyway, I am trying to think of some new blog posts that aren't always the same because I seem to be posting the same type of picture every weekend! I will try to come up with something clever, and unique. I am asking any of you that have any suggestions to leave them in the comment box (I will check it daily). Thanks!

Pumpkin Festival

What a dad! I think Jas just used Kate as his excuse to get to go down the big bouncy slide.
Jas took this picture of Macy and was very proud of his photog. skills, I had to post it.
Taking a break from dancing on th straw bails.
I think Kate may know something I don't about picking the perfect pumpkin, she kept checking all the stems?!
BONK! This is her latest...anything remotely touches her head and she grabs it and says "bok".

pumpkin patch

Sat. morning we went out to Gilcrease Orchard to pick some pumpkins. Macy came prepared with her gloves (mittens) so that she wouldn't get poked while picking the pumpkins. We had fun trying to find a pumpkin that was bigger than a cantelope. We never found one but ended up trading a few of our little ones for 2 carvable ones at the end where you pay . We also bought some of the homemade Gilcrease apple cider-the best!

We tried to get a picture of us with our pumpkins but they were pretty little! We would have had to lay down to get them in the picture.
I love whatever I'm doing as long as I have my dad!
Kate was very interested in the pumpkin blossoms. There were more blossoms than pumpkins.

big shoes to fill

One day while Macy was napping, I let Kate play with some of the toys that Macy doesn't usually let her play with. Kate loved playing with the doll family that Macy got for her b-day but her favorite thing was...the shoes!

best daddy

Macy and Kate are so blessed to have such a good daddy! Jas puts all of his energy and attention into "his girls". He always says that he is so lucky to have his 3 girls, but we feel pretty lucky to have the best daddy ever!
