As I have mentioned several times, (and you are probably all sick of hearing about it) because my camera has been broken I have not been taking as many pictures, thus lacking in posts with recent pictures. I still don't have my camera back but was able to use a better camera to get some recent pictures of what we have been up to. So here are some new posts (with pictures!)
My little rock star! Actually, I took this picture to compare a recent picture of Kate with a recent picture of Macy. My sister and brother in law think that my girls look nothing alike yet other people tell me they look exactly alike except for their hair color. What do you think?
Just like big sis. This is the girls watching some cartoons. Notice Kate's concentration on sitting exactly like Macy...even if it isn't comfortable. She even has her blankie off to the left just like sis!

finally some pictures
feeling crafty
Something about this time of year always makes me feel crafty. I don't know if it's the colder weather making me want to stya inside or what. A couple of weeks ago I got together with some friends to make some flowers and bow clips. We all brought all of our extra ribbon and flowers and made a ton of cute little clips (this is only half of them). It was so fun to just hang out and get something accomplished at the same time.
pumpkin picking
This past saturday my girls got to go to grandma & grandpa "R's" house to pick their very own pumpkins. Macy was pretty excited to finally get to take the pumpkin she had been eyeing every time we picked vegetables out of the garden. They are so proud of their pumpkins that now sit on our porch. Thanks grandma and grandpa!
you private bloggers!
Um, I don't know how to say this without sounding like I am inviting myself to your blogs but...there are a couple of you fellow bloggers out there that have recently gone private and I have not received an invite. Some of you have made comments on me not keeping in touch. I can't because I now can't get in to your blogs and I don't have your emails to be able to contact you. So, if you have gone private and if you have not heard from me, please send me an invite (that sounds really weird but you know that it's because I want to continue to see what's going on with you and your life). I would love to keep checking on your blog and leaving comments so if you still want me to see what your up to, leave me a comment with your email address. Please, thanks!

Kids...
I have been trying to record as many things that I can remember my kids saying lately. They have both been cracking me up. I have to hurry and write them on whatever paper I have close by and then record them later in their books. Here are a few.
We were walking into Old Navy and Kate kept saying: "We going to Old Maidy? We going to Old Maidy?"
Yesterday I was on a walk with my girls and Macy stopped to pick me a dandelion, something she does whenever she spots one. She all the sudden gets excited and says "I am going to pick this for you to put in our house someday! I am going to pick tons of them so that when we get a house you can decorate with them!"
For a couple of days we had a pet slug, yes, a slug! It was actually quite easy to take care of...not a bad pet as long as I didn't have to look at it. Kate couldn't get use to this...thing. One day Macy was trying to come up with a name for it. It was quiet for a minute when Kate says "Macy's Booger?" This of course made Macy pretty upset which only egged on her little sister even more. "Macy's Booger! Macy's Booger!" I had to hold back the laughs.
One day when I was in my room making my bed I could overhear Macy talking to Kate. She headed in to my room where she says (in her matter of fact, I'm the big sister voice) "O.K., this is going to be Target" She then heads out in to the dining room and kitchen and says "This will be Pottery Darn and Gap!"
I had to laugh. I think I should be a little bit worried! What have I created?!

coming soon...
Featuring: Kate as Dorothy and Macy as Glinda!
I am getting so excited for Halloween. I just started cutting out the pattern for Kate's Dorothy dress last night and I have had Macy's Glinda dress for a couple of months now. I have already started thinking about what they will be next year! Am I pathetic?

Madalyn
Madalyn got to come home for four days last week. Even though it was shorter than we would have liked, it was so good to see her so happy and enjoying being back home.
Here Madalyn and Eli enjoying some fish crackers.
Blowing kisses
Madalyn modeling the hat I brought her.
Madalyn is now undergoing her second round of chemo. We can't wait to have her home again. She loved having her brothers around and being able to ride in her wagon outside. She was really doing well, her white blood count was up and she was so happy! We hope and pray it continues.
My sleeping beauties
I love going in to my girls room at night to check on them before going to bed. Since we have been living at my in-laws house they have shared a bed. Most nights we find the girls curled up together or one will have their arm around the other one. I love this picture of them. They look so peaceful and innocent. They remind me of little porcelain dolls.

going nuts...
I still have a broken camera. My in-laws have been nice enough to let me take one of theirs but as you can see from my recent posts, it's not the best quality. I HAVE to get mine fixed before Halloween because I take so many pictures. I just need to do it. I just keep debating on getting a new one?!
