Easter

 I love the morning faces.
*Notice the beautiful real grass we spent 2+ weeks babying for our Easter baskets. Loved the look but not very practical for putting candy on. :P
In this picture, the girls are laughing because I had just told Macy she needed to sit differently because I could see her undies. Kate then asked "can you see my undies?" and right after that Drew asks "see my undies?" We all got a good laugh...and some good smiles.
 My two main men.
I love these kids so, so much!
Me and my girls. Not quite sure why I was hunched over so much, its not like I'm much taller than Macy...?
 Love these four people.

I am so grateful for the true meaning of Easter. I am so grateful for my Savior Jesus Christ and His atoning sacrifice for me. That he made it possible for me to return to live with him and these people I love so very much, forever. I'm grateful to be a member of this church and the blessings that come from it.
Happy Easter!

Easter festivities

We went to our ward Easter breakfast/egg hunt yesterday. The kids had a lot of fun! This is the only kind of Easter egg hunt I will let them participate in (long story but soooo justified as to why I no longer participate in them!;))

So...Drew looked like this for the first few minutes.....not too sure why he was suppose to be collecting eggs off the ground and putting them in his basket...?

Once he realized what was inside the eggs...he looked like this.

 Macy, raiding her loot.
Love these kiddos.
Later we colored eggs. The kids really got into it and we had a lot of fun!
This boy loves his big sisters.:)
Love this picture

Kate was very sweet and made each of us an egg from her.

Leprechaun catcher

We had fun coming up with a leprechaun trap for Kate's assignment in Ms. Farrell"s class. We were sure we would get one! Unfortunately, they were too tricky and smart for this one. The leprechaun did manage to get into the box and mess things up though. :P
The pot of "gold" (cotton ball covered in gold glitter) was on top of a thin piece of tissue paper that would break if the leprechaun tried to get to it!

Our little Girl Scout

Our little sales woman with her troop selling cookies!
Grandma and grandpa Wilcock were in town that weekend and bought some cookies from Kate.
Thanks G&G!
Kate decided she wanted to be a girl scout. I have never been affiliated with the program and wasn't familiar with any of it but fortunately a great group of moms from Kate's school class were all involved in it with their daughters and took over for me! Kate has LOVED it! She gets to go every other Tuesday and some Saturdays. So far her favorite part has been selling cookies at their booth in front of the grocery stores. This May she gets to go to Disneyland with her troop as a big girl without mom or dad! We're so proud of our little daisy.:)

Love these guys...

 Reece and Kate
Macy and Ellie. Best friends since the beginning.

Izzy and Drew. A possible future wedding video picture...?

This post is a little out of order, but the pictures were just too cute not to post! Our good friends the Bischoff family stopped in town a couple of weeks ago and we got to visit with them and their adorable girls. They are some of our friends from Law School and Macy and Ellie were born days apart from each other. Ellie was actually born on Macy's due date and I will never forgive Alysia for that!;) Our kids LOVE when they get to see these guys and I love that no matter how much time goes by in between seeing them, the kids act like they are best friends and jump right back into where they left off. We were lucky enough to have them follow us down to Vegas for a few years after law school and then back up to Utah... and then we threw them off and moved back again! Im keeping my fingers crossed that we get to live by them again someday!

Soccer!

These two girls both scored in their first game of the season today!!! After taking a break from the game for a couple of seasons, Macy and Kate decided they wanted to start up again, and after today's games, I have a feeling they are going to want to stay in it!
Kate started with the first goal for her team, leading her team to a win!;) I think it was in part to her little brother cheering from the sidelines. Go Kate! Her team name are "the Blueberries" and every time we cheered on the blueberries, Drew would start asking me for some blueberries.
Macy headed up her team with their first goal of the game as well! This was Macy's first time playing up a league which she was a little nervous about. Full soccer field, three refs...the real deal! But she did awesome! She even told her dad that she wants to try being goalie (he's the assistant coach for her team this season)! Go Macy! This was the first time for both of the girls that they have scored in their first game! They were both super happy about it. It was a great day in soccer for us here at the Wilcock residence. My only regret...not having my camera!!! I have been horrible at remembering it lately! Next time I will have it (and they probably won't score because I have it). BUT...next time I WILL have it!
I didn't get a picture of the girls until later in the evening. Of course Drew insisted on being in the picture (surprise, surprise). Macy didn't want to be close...his diaper was a bit much at that moment.
And, while the girls were watching their movie and mom was into the GU game on T.V., little man decided to try on his big sisters cleats. Cute. Future soccer player? Love this kid!

baby ?

So, we scheduled a 3D ultrasound and last Saturday we got to see our little peanut up close and personal! Wow! So amazing the details that you can see with the 3D! It was so much fun to go with Jas and the kids and see the babe. Of course the baby decided to sleep during the entire thing (probably the only time it slept the entire day). But it was still so fun to see its face, hand, foot. We caught a few facial expressions which the kids really enjoyed. The entire time I was watching, all I could think was "It's a boy". I reminded me so much of Drew's newborn look. The others all agreed that they thought it looked like a boy. It kind of made me a little sad, just thinking that we now knew when we wanted it to be a surprise. But after sharing the picture with family through texts and messages, I started to think that it could still be a girl. Trish and Justin both thought it looked a lot like Macy and others immediately thought it looked like a girl. That was also fun hearing everyones response to the pictures and changing my mind on being so sure that it was a boy. Either way...I'm so excited and anxious to meet this little one and finally see what it is and what it's name will be!!!
Even though I am anxious for it to get here, I am trying to take in every part of being pregnant...good and bad. Although, I can't really name too many things that I would consider "bad". I have really enjoyed this pregnancy. The time of year, the comfort I've had, the sleep I've gotten ;), the energy I've had, Just trying to take it all in, knowing it is my last.

Some things I want to remember about this pregnancy and others that I haven't written down include:
The baby's constant movement. At first I was worried because around the weeks you can expect to feel the baby I hadn't felt anything. Now I can hardly go for very long without feeling like there is a gymnastics meet going on in my stomache! This baby has been very active! I like to play a guessing game with it. I try to figure out what body part is sticking out here or there. Or I have Jas and the kids feel it and they love to play the game too. Macy was very active towards the end too. I was surprised when she was such a calm easy baby. Keeping my fingers crossed that this one is that way too!

Hiccups. This is one that I have never enjoyed. I don't know why? With every one of my pregnancies. it has driven me nuts when the baby's get hiccups! It reminds me of a twitch or something I want to try and stop or control and with this I can't. And this baby gets hiccups almost every time I lay down on my side...not kidding! I can lay down and know that within seconds I will feel the hiccups.

Night time ritual. This baby seems to be on a late night schedule of being the most active when it's time for mom to go to bed! I can almost always plan on a "show" right when I lay down for bed. It feels like little one is in there doing a circus performance. That's all I can think about...I picture them swinging on the trapeze, doing flips. That's honestly what it feels like every night!

Some other things I have thought a lot about with this pregnancy have been names, who it will look like, who it will act like, boy or girl? The nursery. How Drew will do with a new little one, how I will deal with a new little one;) and the excitement/fear of adding another child to the sometimes chaotic life at home! But more than the fear comes the joy of thinking about a newborn. The sound. The smell. The feel. Nursing. The excitement of the girls. In some ways it's felt like my first time again. After already having 3 kids I would have thought the last one would just be a repeat, and in some ways it has. But in preparing for this baby to come and knowing it will be our last, I have really looked at everything in such amazement and awe. Because it is so amazing and I feel so blessed to be carrying this little human being with me. As the time approaches for it to come into this world, I have always had such mixed feelings. I have been the only one it knows and now I have to share it with the rest of the world. I think that is why I have always enjoyed nursing. It's the one thing that only I can still do for the baby.

Names we have talked about: Some we both agree on but mostly they are names I have liked and Jason has not. :/

"K, gumpy!"

This little man is growing up and I'm not sure how I feel about it. Every day he does something or says something that makes me realize he's not my baby anymore, but a little boy...with a huge personality!! He makes me laugh everyday at the things he does and says. Weather its teasing his older sisters,  which he's very good at...a talent I didn't realize could come at such an early age! or making me laugh with his enthusiasm for anything on wheels. This kid knows how to make his mama smile.
Yesterday just as we were getting ready to head out the door for church, I realized Drew still needed his shoes and belt on. We got his shoes on but the belt was just too much fun to play with...sticking the little metal piece in every hole. After several attempts at trying to put the belt on him with no success, I headed down the stairs. Just like I had hoped he would do, Drew saw that I was heading down without him "wait mama!" I turned to him and impatiently say "then come with me right now! We can't sit and play with your belt all day! We've got to go to church!" to that Drew says "K, gumpy!"
I burst out laughing!  and couldn't stop! How did my little guy know exactly what to say to lighten things up in that moment? To make me realize that him enjoying his belt and all of it's many possibilities was much more important than getting to church on time (for him anyway)?
I love this little boy and his fun sense of humor that he already has at age two. I like to wonder what he will be like in 5, 10, 15 years every time I watch him teasing his sisters or giving me that side of him that shows his huge personality. I sometimes just can't get enough! I hope he stays my happy, funny, enthusiastic little boy for a long time! I love you Drew.

130 BPM

130 BPM.
Had a doctors appointment today and the baby's heart rate was 130. I wish I could remember the girls. It seems like they were both alway up in the 160's. When Doctor Harter told me the BPM I said "don't they say that boys are slower?" He just gave me a smile and said "Or a sleeping little girl". Even though we aren't finding out, I still try to figure it out on my own.:) They say you can't tell the gender by the heart beat but if this one is a boy...I say that theory is true!:)
Dr. Harter set my induction date for April 18th, 4 a.m.! I can now say next month! Holy cow!!!
